Loomis, a family-orientated community that became incorporated in 1984 is located just 25 miles from Sacramento off Interstate 80. Loomis is booming with plenty of empty land (rural areas) and large-lot custom home sites. Loomis offers an annual Eggplant Festival, its natural streams, and rolling hillsides. Loomis has an abundant native oak trees as well as the foothill pine which adds to the ambiance of this rural area.
